Translation and Neurotechnology

The Division of Translation and Neurotechnology comprises five research groups. The research group Digital Psychiatry brings together scientific and clinical knowledge in the field of mental health with all areas of digitalization. The research group Clinical Neurotechnology deals with the investigation of neuroplasticity in the context of the clinical use of brain-computer interfaces. The research group Machine Learning analyses neuroimaging data in neurological and psychiatric diseases using advanced machine learning methods. The research group Neuropsychiatry focuses on a better understanding of neuropsychiatric disorders, especially in the area of neurodegenerative diseases, and on developing new and effective therapies. The research group Neurostimulation uses environmental, genetic, pharmacological and neurodevelopmental animal models of psychopathologies and neuromodulation strategies to test on behavior-neurobiology associations and to develop targeted therapeutic and preventive interventions.
