The research groups in the Section of 'Experimental Psychiatry and (Epi)Genomics' focus on the neurobiological mechanisms underlying psychiatric disease. Both animal models as well as human samples are used. The Section consists of different laboratories with highly complementary expertise in basic and translational research (e.g. genetics, animal models, behavioral phenotyping, biochemistry, cell culture techniques, histology and immunohistochemistry).
