Vita PD Dr. rer. nat. Ravit Hadar
Dr. rer. nat. Ravit Hadar is an experimental psychologist and neuroscientist. She received her M.A. in Psychology (Track: Psychobiology) from Tel Aviv University, Israel in 2007 and earned her Doctorate degree in 2011 from the Freie Universität Berlin, Institute of Neurobiology under the supervision of Prof. Randolf Menzel. She joined the Winter Lab in 2011 as a postdoctoral fellow. Combining her knowledge in various animal models for neuro-psychiatric disorders, behavioral analysis, neuromodulation techniques and electrophysiology she uses a multifaceted approach for investigating the course of neurodevelopmental disorders with an emphasis on preventive avenues. In 2018 she received a 3 years research grant from the German Research Foundation (DFG) for a longitudinal study tracing the consequences of pre- and peri-pregnancy environmental assaults on the neurodevelopmental course of the offspring.
